BankAmericard Travel Rewards® Credit Card Reviews
Offers a good travel rewards program for people who are looking for value but don’t want to have to fuss with special methods of earning and redeeming points.
Decent card if you are looking to have no foreign transaction fees, and an EMV chip for no annual fee.
You won’t get perks like priority boarding or passes to airport lounges, but you can save money. And for many travelers, that’s more than enough.
This card has some things going for it, but I feel like it’s mediocre overall unless you’re earning a banking bonus.
One caveat here: for Bank of America customers, especially preferred clients, this card offers much better benefits.
With no annual fee, no special categories, and no hard and fast rules about how to redeem points, this is a truly no-nonsense travel rewards card with straightforward advantages
If you’re a Preferred Rewards client, you can increase that bonus to 25% – 75%. For such “relationship” customers, the bonus can change this card from good to great.
If you’re an existing accountholder at Bank of America, the BankAmericard Travel Rewards® credit card stands out because of the customer bonus on your points.
Since the card is so hassle-free when compared to other travel reward cards, consumers who are looking to reduce headaches when dealing with points should strongly consider this card.
Great for earning points that you can put towards travel, but it does fall short in many areas, like the travel benefits and key features it offers.
