Joseph Hogue

Joseph Hogue, CFA is an investment analyst who holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He has worked for venture capital firms and angel investors, developing a unique process for finding the most promising pre-IPO deals. He has also published several books on bond trading, passive income generation, early-stage investing, and manages a blog on the crowdfunding movement. Joseph began his career in corporate finance before moving to Medellin, Colombia, to work as a trade consultant and in real estate development. While there, he developed a keen understanding of emerging markets and Latin American investments. Working as an economist since 2008, Joseph also manages a consulting firm providing research and analysis on emerging and frontier markets.
